I seem to have it shipped to me for testing but I could not forward it to anyone.

If you could provide me with conditions to reproduce the bug, I can tell if it behaves ok or not. E.g. some test program?

The u-blox line is in general excellent for time service and other applications.
My personal test rig for time service is a u-Blox EVK 6 eval kit with a TCXO.

We have a pending bug that the u-blox drive in GPSD does not mode-switch
properly with the 8.  I know why.  I need to live-test on one of these, using
someting like a Navilock NL-8002U, to ensure that this is fixed.

Can you provide me with access to one of these, oor better yet ship me one
so I can live-test here?
