[gpsd-users] C++ client library and NMEA strings

Hi, all. I have some questions on the ability of the libgpsmm library, and dealing with NMEA strings. Using the regular JSON output of a local GPSD service, the gpsmm library works great. However, switching over to a separate embedded device, doesn’t. The device outputs on the GPSD telnet port, and outputs NMEA strings. It doesn’t require a watch input, they just stream out. It would make sense that libgpsmm would be able to ingest and handle these strings, but I just get a read error when I connect up to that port. Is there stream flag or something I should be using?

Thanks,
