Hi Gary, gpsd users,

I still can’t get a PPS good from GPSD even though the GPS unit has had a continuous fix for more than a week:

gpsd:RAW: PPS pps-detect on /dev/ttyUSB0 changed to 1
gpsd:INFO: PPS cycle: 1000227, duration:  900204 @ 1381331108.385510
gpsd:RAW: PPS edge accepted 1Hz leading edge
gpsd:RAW: PPS ntpshm_pps: no current GPS seconds: -1381331107816192
gpsd:RAW: PPS edge accepted 0.000000 offset 1381331108.000000000
gpsd:IO: => client(0): {"class":"PPS","device":"/dev/ttyUSB0","real_sec":0, "real_musec":0,"clock_sec":1381331108,"clock_musec":385819}\x0d\x0a
gpsd:PROG: KPPS assert 0.000000000, sequence: 0 - clear  0.000000000, sequence: 0
gpsd:PROG: KPPS data: using clear
gpsd:INFO: KPPS cycle:       0, duration:       0 @ 0.000000000
gpsd:RAW: PPS pps-detect on /dev/ttyUSB0 changed to 0
gpsd:INFO: PPS cycle: 1000200, duration:   99996 @ 1381331108.485506
gpsd:RAW: PPS edge rejected 1Hz trailing edge

GPS module even has ZDA sentences enabled (though I understand it’s not required since gpsd can compute seconds without it).

Output is at 1Hz. PPS pulse is 100ms. Let me know if anyone is kind enough to take a look at my NMEA output :)

Thanks guys.

Hi Gary,

Hm, I was using gpsd -nnD 10. Seems like cgps fix time count starts whenever I launch cgps.
