[Gnumed-devel] Measurements - lessons from other EMRs - limiting the amount of lab data fetched |

I have been worrying about the case where GNUmed accumulates a large amount of
measurements per patient. Querying and reporting every test that a patient has
has would slow things down, and risk to show data in which the clinician is
uninterested.
The problem of selecting arbitrary time frames (30 days, 60 days) is that
important lab history can always live just *outside* whatever time frame is
selected and so I could see value to a query that selects
per test_type available on a patient ...
the most recent available result
the most recent abnormal result
the maximum val_num
the minimum val_num
the oldest abnormal result
the oldest available result
Displaying to the right of the test_types
Most recent Latest AbN Max Min Oldest AbN
Oldest
where the dates would not be in the column headings but, instead, within the
tooltips.
