comes from a faulty interaction between threading on Python 3
and psycopg 2.8. It has been fixed in GNUmed 1.8.2 (you are
using 1.8.0, and the most recent release is 1.8.3).

You may want to try a newer release from

        https://www.gnumed.de/downloads/client/1.8/
