Despite the provided query results, screenshots and
descriptions I haven't been able to replicate the problem nor
find a bug explaining the behaviour. I suppose finding the
actual bug would involve inspecting a live database
exhibiting the noted behaviour.
However, I have been able to isolate the area of where the
problem must hide and have rewritten that part of the
dem.v_message_inbox view to be more easily dissectable in
future debugging should the issue raise its head again.
