Again, this sounds like a
waiting-for-something-that-never-happens problem which often
are thread problems.

The log also stops at a point having to do with threading
(however, we must remember that the log isn't guaranteed to
be synchronous).

Since the one bug I fixed earlier today was to do with
threading as well I wonder how MASTER or
HEAD-of-rel-0-7-patches behave on Mac.
