I had started out trying just to install
texlive-base-bin ( ~ 2.5 Mb)
but something extra from texlive was needed to obtain installed the binary
pdflatex
which was why my last effort to print medications failed, but pdflatex was
callable after I installed the full
texlive (~ 170 Mb)
so now I am not sure if texlive-base-bin was unneeded and/or would be installed
automatically with texlive
--> I assume we do not bother to dissect out what from texlive was needed?...
is it best practice to make the whole package a dependency (despite it would
require more space in any binary gnumed)?
--> check-prerequisites.py presumably now needs something added?
--> presumably an instruction about texlive needs also to be added to
packagers' reference
@ K: re output of (now-working) pdflatex command -- it's now extraneous, right?
