Looks like an installation problem.
Did you start with a clean untar ?
You should never untar on top of a previous release.
Please redownload and regen.
If it still happens, I need the config.log and
the complete output from the make.

For some reason this tarball doesn't compile clean, although the
previous one (same name) did:
