Out of curiosity, it seems the last interest in porting GNU Hurd to ARM was over 5 years ago?
Has this changed? Is this even possible with GNU Mach?
...Coreboot payload development and/or booting from Das u-Boot? Rockchip RK3399 (Pine64...Pinebook Pro laptop) or NPX i.MX8 Quad Purism Librem 5...
I did recently watch a video where a developer ported GRUB2 to uBoot/EFI to boot SUSE Linux on a Raspberry Pi 3. However, the Raspberry Pi 3 SoC initially boots to GPU executable first...unique boot process tied to the SoC...
Also, many developers didn’t like it because it slowed the boot process, even though it allowed one to choose which kernel image to load.
