    I am new to GUN, it seems if I want to use the MAD decorder I must
    install GUN tool first,but if I want to install GUN tool I must
    install UNIX first.

I think you mean GNU, if so and you wish to learn more about the GNU
project and its goals then you should visit the GNU project web
page[0].  But to answer your question briefly, you do not need UNIX to
install any GNU programs, a GNU variant, like GNU/Linux will do fine,
the same goes for BSD-like systems, like OpenBSD.

Note that this listed is dedicated to discussions that are directly
related to the GNU system, and not various GNU programs, those have
seperate mailing lists which you can usually get the name by running
`PROGRAM --help'; where PROGRAM is the program you wish learn where to
get help about it.
