But the FSF had the option to reinstate the case by May 21, 2009,
so the dismissal was provisional on the parties reaching a final
settlement agreement. Reinstatement would have been automatic on
request, as the dismissal order states.

The parties did reach a settlement agreement, the FSF did not
reinstate its suit, and it issued its press release.

Of course you choose to twist and spin, because that's the only
option you have left considering that once again a major company
has chosen to comply properly with the GPL.

As usual, you are incorrect.

While the CEO may not have known about the GPL, the company
certainly does know about it, since the Verizon-branded and
copyrighted manual for their router discusses it.
