Copyright means the "right" to "copy" for use by others. Whether it's
selling CD's or uploading to torrents, distribution of unlicensed
copies to others is explicitly illegal. Every case you cited falls
into this category.

In contrast, copying for your own personal use is a legal gray area in
the US. None of the cases you cited involves such use.

And BTW, the FBI has much more important things to do and doesn't WANT
to be involved in copyright cases, which it regards as a minor civil
matter best handled by local cops. The FBI is involved only because
the all-powerful Entertainment "lobby" pushed a law through that
FORCES the FBI to jump to their command.

Just think, some terrorist or serial killer might still be on the
loose because critical FBI personnel were busy busting some kid for
burning DeathTongue CD's for his friends!
