That doesn't matter. Neither constitutes creation of a derivative work.
I was talking about a "tarball" of CPL'ed and GPL'ed sources to build
an "executable" or whatever. The FSF claims that the CPL is somehow
"incompatible". The entire thread can be found on gnu.misc.discuss.
