I'm paid to write free software.  I also write some other free software on
my own time.

Would you like to take another informal survey here?  I guarantee you that
I can find at least ten other people in this group who are also paid to
write free software.  I know that's not many compared to the whole labor
market, but there also aren't that many people reading this thread.
