FWIW, it's not evil, but *good* from my perspective. I'm not exactly in
India or wherever the latest fashionable ofshoring destination is, but
I'm certainly in a "cheap labour" country, compared to the U.S.
You see, there is no absolute moral standard which you can apply to your
"evil corporations" - it's situational ethics. Why aren't you just
honest and admit that your anger is simply due to a selfish desire to
have it all? There's nothing evil about *wanting* it all; it wouldn't
be a big admission.
And yes, I want it all, too. I want the job you or your dad or whoever
lost, with the money but without the work. I also want your car, your
house, your access to education, your relative public safety from crime
(relative to SA anyway), your cheap fossil fuels, your big cars, and
your pretty skyscrapers (not the ugly ones; you can keep those).
Actually, i want the whole planet for myself. So what? It's not like
I'll ever get it.

I've generally found that the fastest way to get the right answer on the net
is to confidently assert the answer you believe to be right; those who know
will immediately correct you, while if you just ask, often no answers arrive.
All it requires is a willingness to look bad on occasion.
