Yes, they are exercising freedoms 0 to 3 above.  And guess what?  For
the GPL'ed parts of Walmart/Lindows, you, too, have freedoms 0 to 3.
That's the whole purpose of the GPL: the freedoms cannot legally be
withheld from you.  Beautiful, isn't it?

So why don't you *exercise* those freedoms, and change the
Walmart/Lindows software into what you want it to be?  (You could start
by removing the proprietary components, to which those freedoms *don't*
apply.)
