The nice thing would be to have a cron job acting as a kind of
abstraction layer, calling a "~/.arch-params/hook"-like script for
each new revision in the archive (That could even be
~/.arch-params/hook, with a $ARCH_ACTION set to something like
"newrev").
This way, server-side hooks could be run like client-side (with the
latency due to the cron job ).
I'll implement something like this with archive-snapshot if I get
time.
