The problem with trusted lieutenants with _user interface
issues_ is that they know enough not to do the thing that
irritates newbies.
The real answer is to perform HCI studies -- put a whole
bunch of people in a room and let them loose on tla
and watch, without interfering. (and weep).
Meanwhile, newbies are lining up to suffer.(1)
