Subject: | How to get pictures from old phones Nokia 7250 |

Hi gnokii developer and community, I think this subject is too old for the day I am sending this email, but I really have no idea to solve my problem. I have a Nokia 7250 and it’s still working, except problem with the DKU-5 cable. I can’t get it being recognized by my old laptop (Lenovo Y410). Another phone was test with this cable and my laptop recognizes it successfully. I guess it’s phone problem, not the cable and laptop’s driver. I am waiting for the order of irDA USB adapter to come home in the next 2 weeks to see how it goes, but I found in discussion forum that irDA could break the phone (https://lists.nongnu.org/archive/html/gnokii-users/2004-10/msg00007.html). Now I have an idea to communicate with the phone manually by TX, RX pin through FBUS interface. I know about microcontroller and Arduino, and find some articles about using Arduino board to send message in the phone by some specific message command. My question is:
I hope this email can reach rarely active users. I hope you are doing well. Sincerely, Thank you! |
