Well, I don't know[1] - which is why I was asking.

I have just downloaded
http://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/gnokii.git/snapshot/gnokii-master.tar.gz
which appears to have "everything" except gnocky. misc.c has an entry
for RM-578, so, I presume this is correct.

The Debian packages, which I have been using, are separated into
gnokii, xgnokii, libgnokii, gnokii-smsd, gnokii-smsd-mysql etc. 

When I browse http://git.savannah.gnu.org/gitweb/ I find quite a few
gnokii repositories.
