|Subject:||gnokii-smsd file containing '<' at the very end.|
|Date:||Mon, 3 May 2010 14:00:40 -0700|
We have gnokii-smsd running to send out pages, and most of it works pretty good. However recently we had a file with a trailing ‘<’ at the very end that killed the process. Not sure why having a trailing ‘<’ causes the gnokii-smsd to die.
This is what is inside the file:
“prod-edsw-sac2:if_stat Interface 15 [mst-app-sac1:eth0] is down Interface 16 [mst-app-sac2:eth0] is down Interface 17 [mst-app-sac1-mgmt:iLO] is down down<”
This message comes from our xymon monitoring system.
Thanks in advance for any help.
