sporadic 6120 problem

Hi,

I'm using a Nokia 6120c phone with a USB to mini-USB cable (I don't know 
the cable name). It has a sporadic problem as illustrated below. It 
works for a while and then stops working. The only solution is to 
manually disconnect and reconnect the cable.

The problem has always been existent but recently it has become made the 
phone unusable.

Any help would be appreciated.
