Basic gnokii Information

I'm working on a student project and have to get started on working with
gnokii. I apologize beforehand for the extremely basic questions. I've
searched for several hours for whatever information I can find and have come
up with nothing but the official Wiki. This usergroup looks, by far, to be
the best resource available and I'm hoping that I could get someone to point
me in the right direction.

I found this as the official installation index for gnokii:
http://gnokii.org/download/gnokii/
Working off of a Centos 5.2 Redhat operating system, which of these would I
want to download? Are there any other gnokii releases not listed here that
would be a better fit for my OS?

Also, are there any gnokii tutorials out there that would allow me to become
familiar with the software? I'm primarily interested in anything that would
assist me in setting up Bluetooth (or if BT ends up being beyond my
capabilities, USB) communications with a Nokia 6650.

Again, I'm sorry for the flat-out beginner questions. I'm extremely
appreciative of any and all tips, however.

Thank you!
