Patch has been committed, and bugs ironed out this afternoon.

smsd/ isn't finished, and I still need to add intltool support for
the .desktop files and the po/LINGUAS file (it's not generating any
translations right now).

But it runs "make dist" ok ;)

Please direct build bugs to the mailing-list, and I'll try to handle
them.

PS: Make sure you start from a clean checkout
