gnokii --identify help

Hello, 

I've installed gnokii 0.6.14 from source now, I'm using bluetooth
connection. I edited the .gnokiirc, tried 'gnokii --identify' and this is
what happened

IMEI, Model, prod name and revision are unknown.. is this ok? what did I do
wrong?
also, when i try  'echo "This is a test message" | gnokii --sendsms
+639179291791 -r', sending fails
