Hi Dolf,

        on my 6680, gnapplet is behaving the same, I think this is normal
behaviour. When you initiate a connection via bluetooth, you can see 
things appear on the phone screen.

        here is the gnokiirc I'm using, you just need to replace the port
with the right bluetooth address:
