Problem with getsms on Nokia 6236i

I am using a Nokia 6236i (CDMA with Verizon) phone via a DKU2 cable. CVS
version of gnokii from a couple days ago.

gnokii told me to report a bug when I tried to get SMS messages off the phone
so here's the output. Any help is appreciated.
