For the read the problem is that we get:
+CPMS: MT,3,1016,OM,0,254,IM,3,254
while we expect:
+CPMS: "MT",3,1016,"OM",0,254,"IM",3,254

Would you remove \"s from common/phones/atgen.c line 1384, recompile and retry?
