Hi,
I managed to use 6680 with DKU2 cable with out
installing the patch.

This is what i have done:

1) I attached the phone to cable and connected to the
USB port.
1) Turned the PC on and issued the command: dmesg
2) the phone model (6680) is listed together with the
USB port (ttyACM0)
3)I edited .gnokiirc file and changed the following 3
sections i.e.
port = /dev/ttyACM0
               
model = AT
connection = serial
4)I saved the file.
5)command  #gnokii --identify
The phone was identified.
