I did the similiar thing for 2.4 kernel -- it can be compiled without
patching the kernel (as the spearate module). Nokia 6230 is also
supported. There's of course "but". It doesn't work at least with SuSE
2.4 kernel (at least 2.4.21-99 has incampatible USB API). If there's
any SuSE user/developer here I'd appreciate the suggestion what
changes would be needed to be done. I'd appreciate also the feedback
with which distro kernels our  drivers work/don't work.
