xgnokii and phone memory selection

All,

I'm trying to read SMS messages with xgnokii and a SonyEricsson K700i via
bluetooth. I have the datasheet for the AT command set for the SE T68i, which
is not dissimilar to that of the K700i (just lacking in MMS handling
instructions and camera).

The hassle I'm having is this: by direct access to the phone using
kbtserialchat and using command-line gnokii I can manually select the phone
SMS memory (ME). xgnokii appears not to detect the presence of this and
spends all its time probing the SIM memory, on which nothing is stored.
(Output appended)

What do I need to alter in the xgnokii code to allow/force it to use phone
memory instead of SIM memory? Or do any of the other GUI's allow me to select
this?

Best regards,

Gareth

I get this stout output from xgnokii (reduced to just one polling)
