gnokiid is a modem emulator, so it has to provide a terminal device
unless pppd won't be able to use it. When gnokiid starts it allocates
a pseudo tty (in this example its name is /dev/pts/8) which has no
static name. This is the reason gnokiid creates a /dev/gnokii link.
Please don't set /dev/gnokii yourserlf.
