Nokia 6210 and sms messages

Hi, 

I am new in this mailing list and I have some comments/questions. I have
6210 connected to PC with dlr3p cable. There are some problems with sms
and xgnokii. When I open the sms window, I must wait a very very long
time for refreshing the window with messages. It's not good and there
aren't any button for manual refresh (on windows system, it's faster).
When I send a sms message, then the sms window can be closed normally,
but the main (nice) window is death. I can not click on any button.
What can I do with slow refresh of sms messages and death main window?
I have Mandrake 9.1 and gnokii 0.5.2 compiled on my system.
