Nokia 6310i as modem

Hi,

I try to use Nokia 6310i as modem with gnokii 0.5.2 and I have no results. 
I run gnokiid under RedHat 9 and the only message is:
GNOKIID Version 0.5.2

Nothing is displayed on mobile display.

When I try to run ppp, following entries can be found in /var/log/messages:
