Hi, Thanks for answer.
I´m using a DAU9P cable with a Nokia 5120 and a Nokia 5125 phone. The cable is for a 51xx, 61xx and 6360 and is FBUS/MBUS according to the features that appears on it.
When I put M2BUS and try to make a conection (with any parameter --identify, --getalarm, etc.), this is the message:
address@hidden bin]# ./gnokii --identify
GNOKII Version 0.5.1
cfg_file_read - open /root/.gnokiirc: No such file or directory
Opened configuration file /etc/gnokiirc
Added new section global
Adding key/value port//dev/ttyS1
Adding key/value model/5120
Adding key/value initlength/default
Adding key/value connection/m2bus
Adding key/value bindir//usr/sbin/
Adding key/value use_locking/yes
Adding key/value serial_baudrate/19200
phone instance config:
model: 5120
port_device: /dev/ttyS1
connection_type: 8
init_length: 0
serial_baudrate: 19200
serial_write_usleep: -1
hardware_handshake: 0
require_dcd: 0
smsc_timeout: 100
connect_script:
disconnect_script:
Initialization failed (6)
Telephone interface init failed: Function not supported by the phone Quitting.
Serial device: closing device
At this point the terminal goes crazy and nothing I write appears on the screen. I need to write "reset" to get everithing normal at the terminal.
What I really need is to send and receive SMS with the phone. Anybody can help me?
Thanks in advance
