PHONET device

Hello everybody!

I succesfully installed the Gnokii 0.4.3
and made the approriate changes in the
.gnokiirc file.Now when run the gnokii
command the promt looks like:
>gnokii --identify
GNOKII Version 0.4.3
Couldn't open PHONET device: Bad file
descriptor


Any idea what this' all about?

I've tried several ports e.g. /dev/ttyS0,
/dev/ttyS2, /dev/ttyS3, /dev/ircomm0,
/dev/ircomm1...

Linux version is Red Hat 8.0 and the
phone is Nokia 6510. And,yes, the
phone's IrDA is activated.
