Question

Dear Jens,

Yesterday I found an e-mail you sent to 'Gnokii users' (on april 24),
where
you said that you controlled a Nokia 6110 with a PIC16C505, using MBUS
protocol, and I thought maybe you could help me a bit.
I have been looking for a hardware interface to control a Nokia 5125
(which
uses the MBUS protocol) with a PIC16F73. At present, I´m using a Schottky
diode between pins Rx and Tx of the PIC microcontroller, connecting the Mbus
pin of the phone to Rx. Unfortunately, it works well only in one sense (I
can receive messages from the phone, but I can´t send messages to the
phone). I´m quite surprised because I haven´t had any trouble when I
executed the same routine using the PC instead of the PIC, with the same
hardware interface.
Would you be so kind to give me a 'hint' for the hardware interface?. I
would really appreciate your help.

Thank you very much, and sorry for my english!

LUZ MARÍA GAJU M. (from Chile!)
