Hello I loaded irport in addition to the other modules shown above
and removed ircomm-tty and ircomm.
Then

gamma:/home/thomas# gnokii --identify
GNOKII Version 0.4.3
Telephone interface init failed: Command timed out. Quitting.

The 8210 shows a blinking IrDA sign when there is no connection to an
other device and a non-blinking sign when there is an connection.
During 'gnokii --identify' there is a non-blinking sign and a
blinking sign again when the failure message is shown.

After 'gnokii --identify' ircomm and ircomm-tty are loaded
automatically again. :-?

Do I have to change something for the irport module? I left it like
that.
