i tryed this and got the following,

echo 'This is the message' | gnokii --sendsms 086XXXXXXX
Exception in thread "main" CreateProcess: echo 'This
is the message' | gnokii --sendsms 0868722386

        at java.lang.Runtime.exec(
        at test.main(

Ok, i presume this is more of a java sytax error?
Is the idea of the echo command that it will pass in the 'This is the
message' string into the gnokii --sendsms process?
