You said you use the netboot image on GDium? If so, you may check that if you used the wrong imag for loongson computer, I don't know what the GDium cpu arch is. Maybe there are differences.

 

It has a 900 MHz 64bits Loongson 2F by STMicroelectronics
The PMON firmware comes from Lemote.
The noticeable difference is the graphics unit, here a SM502 from Silicon Motion.
There is no storage inside as it makes only use of an usb key (a standard 2.0 one).
