Details:
Debian's repository no longer has a haxe package. Instead it has a package for
neko, which is an interpreter for multiple languages, including haxe. However,
the haxe program itself is still required to build some test cases in the
suite. Ideally someone would add neko support to the scripts that build and
run the haxe test cases, so that more systems can run them.
