This sentence has a typo and is also difficult to understand:
"curl adaptor's fillCacheNonBlocking set _error rather then throwing an
exception"

Is it possible to re-phrase it into something like:
"The curl adapter's fillCacheNonBlocking [method] [sends an error message]
rather than throwing an exception"
