Hi,
the emacs gm2-mode should be quite usable now. Here is another
screencast of it running in the new lowercase mode.
http://floppsie.comp.glam.ac.uk/download/avi/emacs-tag-and-tab-lowercase.mp4
In effect it has:
* the templates as defined in the normal mode (with some
enhancements).
* electric ( ) visual balancing, but it understands comments and skips
over comments.
* electric END and ELSE and THEN which find the appropriate start
statement keyword and visual balances (blinks over the start).
* Esc . will run a simple tag lookup, which examines imports and
definitions (CONST, VAR, TYPE, PROCEDURE) and tries to lookup a
symbol definition. If found the screen is split in two and the
cursor is moved to the definition in the second window. It will
lookup a module contained in the m2-compile-default-path.
* it understands the appropriate dialect of keywords and gm2 extensions.
enjoy!
regards,
Gaius
