Hi Christoph,
thanks for the performing the tests and posting the results.
I've just made some changes to gm2 (in the configure and struct timeval
detection). Hopefully the cygwin build should get a little further on
now.
Also for the first time the gm2 has built as a cross compiler for avr
(and installed cleanly),
