[Gm2] Results for Debian testing (Jessie), latest tarball (27-Sep-2014)

Hello Gaius,

I am wondering why my results here are very different to yours with Debian 
Jessie.

Linux cvs-sys 3.10-2-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.10.7-1 (2013-08-17) x86_64 GNU/Linux

make check-gm2 results in:

                === gm2 Summary ===

# of expected passes            6750
# of unexpected failures        1507
# of unresolved testcases       1495

I usually move gcc-versionno out of the tarball structure to gcc-4.7.3 to build 
gm2. Does this prevent some patches to be applied?
