Hi John,

yes patches made to gcc.  They are stored in:

gcc-4.7.3+gm2-git-latest/gm2/gcc-versionno/gcc/gm2/patches/gcc/4.7.3/

currently there are 12 patches.  The snapshot tarballs (on floppsie)
should have all these patches applied.  The patches take a 
gcc-4.7.3 release and patch it ready for the gm2 frontend.  Typically
changing configure and its source counterparts and also various
Makefile.*.  There are one or two C code patches for gcc as well.
