[Gm2] moving gm2 repository to git

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has objections to moving the gm2 repository
over to using git?

I'll soon need to check in a huge number of changes to trunk which allow
gm2 to build on 4.7.1 gcc tree.  [Well in reality it generates a cc1gm2,
currently I'm still hunting down bugs in cc1gm2 - but it does generate
assembly language from hello.mod cleanly].  The file gm2/gccgm2.c has
been broken up into roughly 12 pieces and completely rewritten.

I think this process will be easier under git rather than cvs,
