[Gm2] gm2 with O2 will not do

Requesting "-O2" with gm2 rewards me with the following (on the usualhello.mod).


failed to find definition module InOut.def

This happens on both Linux/intel and Solaris/sparc.  (It has actually
been happening for several releases but I failed to report it earlier.)
