Hi,

I don't have easy access to a Gentoo (or alas time to look into
ebuild).  Would you like to volunteer to look into ebuild on Gentoo?
I build gm2 for debian (and Ubuntu) and can post to you my scripts?
Although you're right I should really push the package upstream..
